NYC Le Fooding 2010 Tickets On Sale TONIGHT – Secret Link

Last year’s first annual Le Fooding left everyone salivating for more. The lineup for this year’s East Coast / West Coast cook-off has been announced. Representing the New York City, we have David Chang, Dan Barber, Nate Appleman, Torrisi’s Mario Carbone, Seersucker’s Bob Newton, and Vinegar Hill House’s Brian Leth. PDT’s Jim Meehan will also be mixing up delicious drinks to quench everyone’s thirst. If you have not been able to get through PDT’s reservation line, this is a great opportunity to try their yummy drinks. Representing San Francisco are Daniel Patterson (Coi, Plum, Cane Rosso), Mourad Lahlou (Aziza), Jeremy Fox (Plum), Melissa Perello (Frances), and James Syhabout (Commis).

The event will return to P.S.1 on September 24 and 25. Six chefs will be cooking up a feast each night. Just to make sure this year’s event is better than last year’s, there will also be a pizza cook-off both nights and just because they love us so much, April Bloomfield (Spotted Pig, The Breslin) and Laurent Kalkotour (DB Bistro Moderne) will be cooking burgers made with French cheese!

Ladies, looking cute is great, but it’s more important to dress for the weather (last year was a bit on the chillier side) with comfortable shoes. Heels will just dig into the dirt and ruin them. If last year is any indication of how it’s going to be this year, expect great food, great atmosphere, great company and looonnnng lines. Tickets go on sale 2pm on September 13th BUT here is the link if you want to get tickets TONIGHT. This is a foodie event you don’t want to miss. And of course, proceeds benefit Action Against Hunger.

Alas, I won’t be attending this year. While everyone is savoring on David Chang’s fusion cuisine of some sort, I will be stuffing myself with airplane food. Sigh.
