LA: Great Chefs of LA Benefit

Good weather, good food, and good wine/alcoholic beverages, good cause, and good friends call for a deliciously good time.  This Sunday is the 23rd Annual Great Chefs of LA Benefit.  As one of the city’s most anticipated culinary events, the 23rd Annual Great Chefs of Los Angeles brings together L.A.’s most renowned chefs for an afternoon of food, wine, music and auctions to benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California.

With a list of chefs this extensive and talented, it’s no wonder the event draws a crowd of more than 500 people each year.

The event takes place Sunday, November 8 from noon – 3:30pm at the CBS Studio Center (4024 Radford Avenue Studio City, CA 91604).  Tickets are $150 (only 750 tickets available in total) and can be purchased on the National Kidney Foundation’s website.  Aside from a fully satisfied tummy and knowing you did a charitable thing, you will also receive a gift basket with $250 of goodies (I am thinking coupons and maybe samples) promoting the recently introduced “Go Green, Go Organic” theme of eco-conscious living and sustainability, utilizing organic foodstuffs and eco-friendly products.
